In terms of the performance of thermoplastic vulcanizates, it has applications in the following areas:

1. Sealing (construction / auto seals, seals)

3. Impact resistance, shock resistance; flexibility (casters, buffer blocks; wires, cables, hoses)

Since the properties of thermoplastic vulcanizates are different from general thermoplastic elastomers, its applications are more inclined to industrial products:

1. In terms of high temperature resistance, conventional fully vulcanized PP / EPDM can reach 135, and the engineering thermoplastic vulcanizate introduced by DuPont can withstand more than 150;

2. In terms of solvent resistance and oil products, TPV is generally more resistant to solvents and oils because it has a crosslinked rubber particulate phase.
